MN Carry Class~Sept 11 ’10 Cannon Falls

Here’s your chance to get your carry permit or renew at an unheard of price! Many classes are over $100.!

Date: September 11th Saturday 2010 >9:00 am

Depending on class size, we should be wrapped up by 3:00 pm.

Location: Near Cannon Falls, MN

Cost: $55.00 check- no plastic please

• Pre Registration Needed

• Please send an email with the subject line reading :

CC Class

•The body of the emails should contain the participants FIRST NAME, MID INITAL and LAST NAME

that will appear on the certificates.

• Please bring your weapon in a cased and locked container along with 30 rounds of ammo for qualification.

• Targets will be supplied.

• This class is for both the first time MN Carry Permit and the Renewal Permit.

• This renewal certification is valid for one year after completion. The permit to carry is good for 5 years.

• There is an fee to the county (normally $100.00) when applying for the permit or the renewal (normally $75.00).

* This is NOT a class in how to shoot a hand gun. You’ll need prior experience.

* No weapon to qualify with? No problem, just let me know in your email and we’ll take care of you.

From the emails received we are at 5 attendees mostly from the Rochester/Red Wing area.

I spoke with the instructor tonight and he’s available in September. With Labor Day, early goose and small game opening up, it looks like either

Saturday the 11th or Sunday the 12th would be good choices.

I’ll need to hear from you which day works best.

Location is still up in the air and I’ll post as soon as I can find a centrally located one.

I’ll verify with the Mrs. I don’t think we have any weddings or any other stuff to side track me that weekend. Looks like either day will work for me.

Note to WI residents.

You may hold a MN carry permit even if you are from out of state.

The only difference is that you can go to any county in MN to apply for the permit. MN residents must go to the county they reside in.

That and you still may not carry concealed in WI…..yet.

That’s what I’m here for big guy!

Last time around there were a couple that didn’t get their certs at the class because I didn’t get the info in time.

So let’s gett’er done!

The emails with the location address are being sent out tonight to all that have their check sent in.

Still four or five that we’re waiting on.

Ok! If you’ve sent in your check and haven’t recieved an email with the location…well, it sucks to be YOU! LOL!

It looks like I’ve contacted everyone, but if not get a hold of me soon!

Besides the 21 rounds of ammo, you’ll need eye protection along with ear protection. I’ll have an extra set of muffs along if needed. We will be shooting outside.

For the couple that don’t have a hand gun, there will be pleanty there to chose from.

We could have another class when we have around 10 or more interested. Location? Steve is willing to hold class pretty much anywhere we can put up a projector screen and pull off 21 rounds each.
