Just purchased a new Weatherby .243 Vangaurd for antelope and yotes. Wondering what grains to shoot for these and also any thoughts on scopes/power. I was thinking Leupold VX II 3×9. Thanks.

What is the rate of twist of your barrel. That will to a point dictate which bullet weight you will want to shoot. Most .243s shoot 75gr. and heavier better. Lots of choices in bullet styles and weights for .243 though. That scope will do you fine. Lots of choices there also.
