Ar style rifles ?

Just was wondering what kind of range you get out of the ar style guns like the vtr by rem and the dpms and bush master thanks

I have several of them and it all depend on the set up. They work fairly well long range for prairie dogs. After 100 hundred yards they drop but not too bad. I wouldn’t say more than 300 on prairie dogs. and that is with a lot of drift. My brother and I have built quite a few if you ever want to go that route and save some money. You can go up to Del-Tone Luth gun club. Which is basically run by DPMS and buy all the parts you need to make a custom gun the way you want for a lot less money and better quality than any store bought ar.

I would love to go that route whats the diff in cost and what tools would you need i dont know much about them at all but love that they are semi auto and easy to handle are there diff cal to choose from i like the 22-250 but would be happy with 223 barrel lengths im wanting to hunt yotes, dogs,deer and have fun at the range i have seen the drurry brother kill alot of deer using to tc contender in 223 and seems to do the job just fine any help would be great thanks
