I shoot a 50 cal TC Omega and I have a good grouping using 2 pellets(100gr)777 powder with a 295gr Power Belt bullet. I was thinking about trying to dial it in better at long distance yardage(200yds approx) with 130gr 777 powder(50+50+30 pellets). Anybody have thoughts on this or have tried this load.I also have 250gr and 290gr TC Shockwaves to use but never tried them yet. When I use 150gr powder I lose accuracy I found out. Thanks

I did not notice a difference on my target after switching to 130 from 100 but that is with iron sights at 75 yrds. With a scope you may notice. That was with with triple seven. Also, I will NEVER shoot another deer with Powerbelt bullets, They’ll kill a deer but my experiences have been less than stellar. Do a search on Powerbelt forums and seems most feel the same way. Shockwaves have been good to me. Maybe the newer Platnium or the silver colored ones are better????

I use 130gr Triple 7 pellets just as you mentioned out of my Knight. I am shooting 245gr aerotip Powerbelts. I have cloverleafed at 200 yards. NO BS, I know it sounds fantastic, but I have done it more than once and it has been witnessed each time. Give that load a shot. The Knight is 1:28 inches as most ML barrels are.

I have the same gun and use 150 gr and shoot the 250gr Shockwaves and have no problems putting it on the money at a 150 yards ( don’t think I will ever shoot 200 ) so have not tried that
