Heavy Weight 20 GA Shells?

    Anybody tried any of these new Federal shells? The 7’s are supposed to deliver higher energy down field than a lead 5 shot. I had great luck with the Mag-shok 5’s out of the twelve gauge last spring but my son will be using his youth twenty this fall. I am pretty sold on the Flight Control Wads and am wondering if anyone has tried these out? I’m thinking with the shorter barrel and the SuperFull Rem choke (.572) we should be able to get a good pattern out of the 870.

    He will be using it for turkey this fall. I liked the added knock down power thus being able to use the sixes versus fours. It would be nice to get the extra pellets without sacrificing punch.
