The right photo is out of a Remington 700 LSS, .280 Remington cal. A 5 shot 200yd group using 120gr Nosler Ballistic tips.(the best 200yd group I ever shot!)

The left photo is from a T/C Icon (bolt action), .308 Winchester cal. A 5 shot 100yd group with 150gr Nosler Accubond bullets. Not only fun , but 1/2 the price of over the counter equivalent ammo.

    BTW…My .280 is a special .280 50th Anniversary model…I have a Leupold 4.5X14X40 scope on it.
The T/C Icon has a Leupold 2X8X40 on it.

Yeah, I guess you can say you have her dialed in.

How do you like the T/C Icn otherwise?

The TC Icon is one of the best designed rifles I’ve shot. The only (minor) drawback is that its on the heavy side, due to being machined from a single block of steel.
24″ bbl, awesome trigger, integral scope mounts. They also garauntee MOA accuracy out of the box!

It’s a VERY good feeling when you finally get a load dialed in to that moa.

WOW Tom It looks like the 280, has 3 holes with 5 shots and I can see almost 4 with the T/C…. tighter with the 280 I would take either group either way

Nice grouping! I’m waiting to get my 6×24 Burris Tacticle for my my new 22. Hopefully I get it that tight in a reasonable time frame!

That is tight. Very nice. My brother has a .280 that he can’t seem to settle down. I’m going to start loading his stuff. See if I can’t find the sweet load.
