This thing shoots like an absolute beauty. I bought it on discount at a gun retailer in the mountains. I oculdn’t have asked for a better gun. It is the perfect size for white tails and some other antelope. Drills the bulls-eye two.

I shoot a Browing A-Bolt in 270 WSM. I knew it would shoot flat but I was amazed at how flat it was and even more amazed at how high the energy was all the way out to about 400 yards. It is flater shooting and harder hitting than both the 30-06 and 7MM. Great all around gun. I’m not sure why more people do not shoot one.

Why do people continue to these short mags, 1st fact the 270 is based off of th270 weatherby only its about 1 inch shorter. Yes i will give you the ballistics look great but they are also very deceptive after what a couple of people that i know that work in ballistics at federal have told me I could not bring myself to waste that kind of money on a gun whose barrel is going to be BURNED OUT AT 800-1200 ROUNDS!!!!!! If you are looking to reduce felt recoil and you shoot a 30-06 go down to a.308 if you shoot a.308 go down to a 30-30 etc. A standard 7mm will have a barrell life of 5000-7000 rounds give or take afew hundred.
