These are a compilation of the threads from my favorite gun forum, http://www.hipointtalk.com. I figured I’d just over lay them all in one here. Two of the guns are from last weekend. The Mosin 91/30 is from, um, today. Yeah, it happened again.
Again from last weekends little spree are pics of another gun. My very first Hi Point carbine, a 995. I have not fully decided if I’m going to pimp this or leave it stock. Finances will be the main determining factor short term. It will be several weeks before the barrel is warmed on this one too. Here it is 43 degrees today, melting all the snow from last Thursdays storm and tomorrow again we’re in for another 4-8 inches with another 6-8 called for Tuesday! I LOVE this freaking state.
Now for mommas shotgun:
Here is a couple pics (click to enlarge) of the sweet little Mossy 500 I got for momma last weekend. My baby girl is hanging onto it in the one picture. She figures it is too heavy for her yet but is insisting I get her the pink Rossi .22 we spotted today at Dunham’s. I haven’t shot this gun yet but picked up several boxes of ammo for it now and will be warming the barrel in the next several weeks.
And for the Mosin Nagant. Gawd I love these!
So I was wandering around looking for something to do when I ended up 50 miles away in a gun store. Having remembered I donated my 91/30 to a young fellow who lost his rifles in a house fire I figured I might see what they had for a replacement. I settled on a 1922 sexy hexy. This is a sweet looking gun with non force matched numbers. The only thing I can tell is it is counter bored. But the bore itself looks perfect!
