Buy the Jiffy and you will not have to buy another auger!!

    I could recommend StrikeMaster.

I’ve had both Jiffy and now StrikeMaster. Our site is sponsored by StrikeMaster…so many will say that’s why he’s recommending them…

…but here’s what I suggest. Use IDA to find someone fishing in your area with both brands…arrange a time to fish with them and try out both brands. Then you decide.

I’m confident that you too will be on the RED band wagon.

Woosa, where will you be fishing this weekend?

I might be able to line up a few for ya.

Jiffy is a good auger, can’t go wrong with them.

I love my StrikeMaster…mostly because of weight, some because the folks at Big Lake are easy to talk with…and some because I like red better than yellow….matches my Marcum…don’tchasee.

Have a good New Year all!

I shoot a Ruger .204 and have kept all my brass so far. I am very interested in reloading my own rounds but I have no idea what I need for rifles. I was wondering if someone could help me out and let me know about how much I would have to spend to get all necessary equipment to reload my own shells.

I could put you in touch with my brother who reloads a lot. Also check of GunStop in Excelsior MN. Ask for John he will get you started and give you prices too. Great shop

I bought the Lee Anniversary reloading kit – $80.00, and it had almost everything that I need. I picked up a digital caliper for $30.00, die – $35.00, miscellaneous small tools and funnels – $20.00. All in all I probably shelled out around $175.00 to get started. The problem is once you start, and see the accuracy that you can produce you won’t be able to stop. That means buying more guns, dies, powder, bullet styles and types, the list goes on and on. I started reloading about 2 years ago and I’m not going back to factory stuff, this is too much fun.

Is the whole process pretty simple to do? I know they sell reloading manuals which give you the proper amounts of everything to do, but is there anything I should know that I wouldn’t find out from the manual? Any tips from a veteran reloader?

Check out RCBS.com they have avariety of starter kits to get you going that is what I did when I started, you can buy videos and dvds to help with any questions you have. When I started I had help from a friend who reloads. And yes this is avery addicting hobby Inow reload 4 rifles and 1 pistol caliber.
