I am strongly looking at buying a 700 SPS in .308. Does anyone have on of these or have an opinion on them? I have 2 Savage accutriggers in .223 and .22-250. Along with another Savage 99 in .308 and a pair of winny levers. I have never owned a rem rifle but have always heard great things about them. Does the 700 SPS live up to the hype?

Remington has been rock solid save a few years in the late 1990s….when Winchester went down to tubes.
    I have two CDLs(.280 & 30/06) and just ordered a Model 7, 25th Anniversary of the 7mm08.
The SPS is a plain jane version built on the same great action…it will need only some trigger work and should give you MOA groups.
