    I found that my shotgun rod without an attachment is about .40 cal. and longer than the push rod. Now I took a screwdriver type socket drive in 7/16 and I can unscrew the breech plug in record time. Throw a patch on that bad boy and range cleaning will be a snap!

    No, but with the breech plug pulled, it’s a straight push through. The patch goes over the rod and offers a snug fit for good cleaning.
