    Any comments on this shotgun good/bad? Obvious not for hunting, but personal protection and plinking.

    I.ve had my 500 for about 15 yrs. Love it. A real do everything gun. I have a 18in, 28in smooth barrels and a 24in slug barrel. All for cheaper than a lot of other guns.
    It is a popular gun so it is easy to find accesories. You name it they make.
    Nice having 6 shoots sometimes and the safety is on top were it should be.

    I havehad my Mossberg 500 for quite a few years now and have no complaints. It has been used for deer, ducks/geese, and pheasants. Kills animals just as dead as any other shotgun

    Jon, if you get a JIC, you gotta come down to the compound and bust a few clays with us… That sight would be priceless…
