I may be wrong but I thought on the FLW you just entered as a coangler and you would then be randomly placed with different anglers.

You are randomly placed with different anglers however if a boater and a co sign up together they are both guaranteed a spot before someone who would sign up by themselves as long as the spots are not full yet. You are not signing up togeher to fish togther, you sign up together so you are both are guaranteed a spot. So the key is to find someone to sign up with and sign up early.

Happy Thanksgiving Steve Thanks for explaining the situation for the folks who visit this website. This is a great opportunity for those folks who want to learn more; to fish with these guys that do this day in and day out.

I have learned more over the past twelve months, putting into practice what these Pros taken for granted. The little things do make a big difference and they are masters at the little things.

If you have not fished an FLW tourney this is a great way to get started. I had an absolute great season in 2007 fishing with the likes of Ted Takaski, Tom Keenan, Paul Meleen, our local guy Steve Delain, and others.

Finally got to meet Chappy as well at the championship in Cleveland

I agree with everything Kerk just said. These guy’s have more knowledge in there little finger than I have in my whole body! What a wealth of Knowledge! I fished with some really great guy’s too!

Kerk, are you looking to prefish also or just someone to sign up with? I get in automatically because of making the championship, but I can sign up with you if you want.

I am looking for someone who is going to be in town to prefish for the events also.

Thanks for the clarification. I asked one of the pros at the Moline weigh in and thats how it was explained( He gave me the quick version). I like the idea that they take care of the guys who put more into it first.

    Thanks for the info.

    Scott,
Thanks I will take you up on the offer.
Let’s PM so we can get everything setup. I am planning to prefish before each tourney, but we can talk about it off line.

I’m tired of waiting. I just called Bills and they are open every night. Anyone want to meet there next week? Say Wed?? 6pm maybe?
