I had an offer that I couldn’t refuse, so I went ahead and bought myself a rifle. I bought a Norinco model NHM-91 AK-47. It came with a 5 round magazine, a 30 round magazine, scope, bipod, and about 500 rounds of ammo.
The scope needs to be sighted in, so I was wondering where a good range in the area is to sight it in and then burn some ammo.

I believe if you have brass ammo, you should be able to go to bills gun range, give them a call and check it out.

    Skippy,
Bill’s would be a good choice, do the shooting in the morning in St Paul, then head down to Pool 4 with James, or Dustin for some afternoon/ evening Walleyes.
What a great day that would be….

Am sure you don’t have the full auto trigger system on that AK. I’ve shot one on full auto, def quite fun…

Sounds like a blast to shoot. Black Hawk Park in Cedar Falls has a 50yard, 100 yard and a 200 yard outdoor range. With nice shooting benchs to set up on. You can purchase cardboard targets at the entrance of the park or bring your own.

How do you get to Black Hawk Park? Sounds like it might be the place I want to go.
