I really enjoyed that. I only shot one series, but next time I will be ready and shoot better. I am satisfied with my score, a 75.2% I shot 5 rounds per station. If anyone who doesn’t shoot very much would like a relaxed shoot, I rushed most of the time and was done well before the target would turn. Overall that was cool, I’ve never done that before but that won’t be the last time. Thanks Brian and Bills for that.

So stupid…. I totally forgot I went fishing instead, the bite wasn’t so hot out there either that and it was a little on the cold side.

We were talking about you at the range. I said it was the baby that kept you away.

You missed a great time Nick. A very different way to shoot. It sure was fun.
I will get into more detail tomorrow.

That was a good time! We need to have a little more time for bragging/making excuses afterward though.

We had a a IDA family stop by tonight, Ron Westberg, Ron Jr, Mrs. Ron Westberg and I’m sorry I missed the little guys name…but I’m going to guess it was Ron III…add those up with Sliderfishing (Ron) and we certainly didn’t call anyone by their first name!!

You guys are going to have to help me with the names/scores here…

    Name 1st / 2nd Score

    Ron 91.6% / 85.1%

    Ron 83.9% / 85.9%

Ron 96.3% / 90.0%* Hot Shot of the night

    Ron’s friend 87.% / 82.2%

    Chris 75.0% /

    BK 69.% / 77% * I was having cookie withdrawals

Below are a few photo’s of this evening at Bills after our safety training…

k…I can’t tell a lie…this is Ron’s target…and yes, his score was better than mine.

I have to thank Ryan the manager and Bruce (the computer guy) at Bill’s Gun Shop and Range (South Jr!) for being so helpfull and setting this up for us…not to mention rubbing salt in my wounds all night long…

Thanks again guys! We’ll have to do this again soon!

Brian, I would like to thank you and Bills (Ryan and Bruce) for the great time last night. I thought the course of fire was fun and managed in a very safe way. I’m a new member to IDA and it was nice to meet the people behind the screen names, a great group of people. Schedule permitting my son and I (the Ron’s) will be there next time. My wife really enjoyed the time and hopes to be shooting next time, by the way she is a good shot. Now that we have met, next time we can really get in the encouraging and helpful pointers (trash talking) to help us increase our percentages.

Wow, brian in the first round you got outshot by a 16 year old with open sights. I don’t use any of that fancy lazer stuff, although next time I might have to try it.
    Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Next time Jr…I’ll be shooting less than 10 shots and adding an inch on to my barrel!

The first target we shot at the groups/score was pretty good…then the next set…well a three inch barrel just isn’t the best at 18 yards for pete sake!

First you whip my at catfishing, now shooting…how good are you at checkers?

I suck at checkers, I’m more of a chess player. but who has time for games? We should be getting together and shooting again.
