    Hey guys,

I’m looking for a christmas gift for my Dad and need some help from a seasoned gunsmith.

My dad has a library of guns he has been collecting over the years, and does as much of his own gunsmithing as he is capable of. He gave my sister an idea for a christmas gift this year and the other siblings and I would like to go in on something that might be of even more use to him.

Here is the torque screwdriver he suggested: F.A.T. Wrench (Advertised for $32 – Guns and Ammo magazine)

Are there gunsmithing tool kits such as the Deluxe Screwdriver Set, which also come with a torque wrench?

    Thanks for your help.

    Lars

Try googling Brownells. They are a good source of gunsmithing tools.

+1 on the Brownells, their tools are top shelf and the prices aren’t to bad. Get him the big screwdriver set, it is really nice that is the one we use for the shop.

Midway USA has a nice torque wrench. They have a lot of other handy tools as well. Good luck

I use a inch pound torque wrench from harbor freight. its the same one I have used for years on transmissions. I think it was about 30$.
