Must have a gun ordinance

The small town of Greenleaf Idaho passed a city ordinance that states every house must have a gun. I know that there are a few other towns in the country that also have a similar ordinance.
As long as they are trained how to use them, I think that is a good idea, how about you?

    Cool…I think!

I’m a believer that it’s up to the individual to decide whether they should or should not own a gun.

I see the law really just encourages home owners…and it’s really more of a deterent to bad guys…than a “real” ordinance.

…but it kinda makes me wonder just how bad the crime is in that town??

I heard that the worst crime the town had was a fist fight a few years ago.

    Im not against it.

I think it needs to go one step further here.. Minneapolis specific.. manditory that everyone except convicted felons must carry a side arm.

Anyone been noticing the news on how many murders and in-home robberies that have been happening this year? I am sure there would be an immediate drop in the crime rate, but I am just as sure the back-yard justice would increase and a few of those that are too stupid to quit robbing armed people would be shot.
