Here’s another one for you folks close to Milwaukee.

    Mack! They have rifles too!

    Quote:

If you’ve always wanted to shoot a full-auto, now’s your chance!

On Sunday, March 12th, we’ll be having a fund-raising shoot at The Shooters
Shop in Milwaukee. The shoot will be from 11 am to 4 pm.

Here are the exotic guns we’ll have for you to shoot:

    M16A2M4 in .223
    H&K G36K in .223
    MAC10 in .45ACP plus suppressor
    MAC10 in 9mm plus suppressor
    MAC12 in .380 plus suppressor
    Beretta 12 in 9mm
    Walther MPK in 9mm
    Thompson WH in .45 ACP
    H&K MP5 in 9mm+suppressor
    H&K UMP45 in .45 ACP
    UZI micro pistol in 9mm
    FN P90 in 5.7×28

This is a fund-raiser for our political action committee, the WCCM. Every
dollar contributed to the WCCM goes to the campaigns of pro-gun candidates.
This year we’re especially focused on helping out whichever candidate–Mark
Green or Scott Walker–wins the Republican primary to run against Governor
    Doyle.

The contribution to the WCCM to get on the range is $40 per person, and you
can shoot any of the guns you want. Because of liability concerns, all
ammunition must be purchased from The Shooters Shop on the day of the shoot.

You can shoot as much or as little ammo as you like!

So, not only do you get to shoot some really exotic weaponry, but you’ll
also be helping to oust one of the most anti-gun governors in the country at
    the same time!

Directions to The Shooters Shop can be found at
    http://www.shootersshop.com/contact.html

It would be very helpful if you would pay your contribution by check, as
this makes it easier for us to record contributions.

Mark it on your calendar now. It’s going to be a blast!

    Thanks,
    The Wisconsin Concealed Carry Association

…$40. range fee and $500. in ammo….since I wasn’t in the service and have more of a chance of being shot at with an auto than shooting one myself…it could be someone like myselfs only chance to let’er rip!

I know how long it takes to load up a 17 round clip…can’t imagine a 40 or 50 rounder!

I also know how fast I can empty one….

Good idea…wish it was closer than 7 hours.

    UPDATE

    Dear fellow gun owner:

The response to the email we sent just two days ago announcing our
fund-raising submachine gun shoot has just been overwhelming. The Shooters
Shop has also been swamped with phone calls asking for more details.

And we haven’t even started printing flyers for the event yet.

At the bottom of this email is the original alert we sent out announcing the
    event.

However, it’s now becoming clear that there’s going to be a ton of people
    showing up for this.

So, here’s “an offer you can’t refuse.” Send your check for $40 per shooter
as soon as you can to: WCCM, 3263 S. 45th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53219.
Please also attach a note indicating which time slot (11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2
pm, 3 pm, 4 pm) you’d like to get into. We’ll do our very best to make sure
that we will acommodate your schedule, and put you at the front of the line
    for those hours.

By sending your check in advance, you’ll be able to better plan your day. It
also helps us by getting a better handle on how many shooters to expect, and
also makes bookkeeping more manageable. And it helps The Shooters Shop to
better plan in advance how much ammunition to have on hand.

To answer some of the common questions we’ve received:

    1. The $40 contribution to the WCCM covers the cost of range time and the
use of any or all of the submachine guns you want to shoot.

    2. Ammunition must be purchased from The Shooters Shop on the day of the
event. This is due to liability issues on the part of The Shooters Shop, as
well as the owners of these extremely valuable subguns. We don’t want “Uncle
Bob’s” reloads damaging a gun or, worse, causing physical harm to anyone.

    3. You’re welcome to shoot as much or as little ammo as you like. If the
number of shooters waiting becomes excessive, though, we would ask that you
be courteous and allow others to get their trigger time in.

    4. If the number of shooters exceeds the five-hour schedule, the owners of
The Shooters Shop have agreed to keep the store and range open beyond their
usual 4pm closing time. But, if you really want to shoot some of these
exotic weapons, please show up during the 11 am to 4 pm time slots.

    5. Out of state residents are more than welcome to participate. Please bring
a photo ID, such as a driver’s license.

    6. There is no age limit for those participating, so you’re welcome to bring
your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, etc as your guests. Please be
realistic, though, as to whether your young guests will be able to handle
full-auto guns. You know them; we don’t. So we rely on your good judgement.

    7. There will be experienced full-auto shooters to help you through the
manual-of-arms for each gun. We want your experience to be as much fun as
possible, while ensuring your safety and the safety of everyone else
    present.

    8. There will likely be people from the media present. We ask you to direct
all media questions to employees of The Shooters Shop or WCCA volunteers.
You’re coming to this event to have a great time, and to help elect pro-gun
candidates. Many members of the media will want to distort this event to
    suit their own anti-gun agendas.

We have in Governor Doyle one of the most anti-gun governors in the country,
and certainly the most anti-gun governor in the history of the state of
    Wisconsin.

It’s time for him to be retired from office. Your participation in this
event won’t just be for fun. It will also make Doyle’s corrupt regime a
    footnote in history.

    Thanks,
    The Wisconsin Concealed Carry Association

P.S. If this event is as popular as it appears it will be, we’ll be
announcing some other events that will be even more spectacular. Stay tuned
for further details. And please forward this email to every friend of
    freedom that you know.

    Latest UPDATE

    Dear fellow gun owner:

Our scheduled March 12th fund-raising submachine gun shoot has received a
lot of attention. Unfortunately, not all of that attention has been good.

The potential–and I must emphasize the word “potential”–for our opponents
to turn this into an ugly situation has become apparent to me.

While subgun shoots take place all the time, this was first and foremost a
political event. As such, we are held to a higher standard.

My intention in organizing the shoot was to let you come and shoot some
expensive and exotic guns and have a good time, and not to get you involved
    in a potentially sticky situation.

Perhaps I’m being overly cautious, but I hope you’ll understand that I’m
doing so with you in mind.

Therefore, I’ve decided to cancel the shoot.

If you have already mailed a check to the WCCM for the event, I will return
    your check to you uncashed.

Because this event has received such wide publicity, I would appreciate it
if you would forward this email to everyone you know, and also post it on
every internet gun-related site you’re aware of. Some people had planned on
driving great distances, and I want to make sure they’re aware of the
    cancellation.

I’m sure that this is a disappointment for many of you, and I sincerely
apologize. I hope you’ll understand and appreciate my intentions and my
    concerns.

    Thanks,
