I have a 16’x30′ canvass tent we use out west hunting that needs a corner zipper replaced. Wright Way Canvass in Winona is booked out for over a month. Anywhere else that I could get a zipper replaced on this size tent? Thanks. Shawn

I’ve used Canvas Craft in Rogers, MN, but that’s a bit of a trek from Fountain City.

Ya that would be a pretty good distance to travel. Thanks though.

There are a bunch of canvas places near the river, mainly due to the higher boat traffic. Not sure of any in your area, but check with a couple marinas nearby. They typically know of small ma/pa shops that will suit your needs. There should be some in Lake City and Redwing if none in your area.

If you’re desperate and don’t mind a slight drive, Tarps Inc in Savage is good place as well.

Harris Warehouse and Canvas on University near Dinkytown has done a very good job on tent repair for me in the past. I understand it a a bit of a drive, but you wont be disappointed.

EDIT: Looks like they closed up shop. Their prices were a fraction of others and quality was top notch…that’s too bad.

Checked with Lacrosse Tent and Awning and they are at least 2 months out. Search continues.

I know it’s quite a hike for you, but Thrifty Outfitters inside Midwest Mountaineering will repair tent zippers. They are in Minneapolis.
