Evidently some people would like to ignore the fact . I can guarantee as long as the justice system stays the way it is this will NEVER end.

I am no liberal, in fact far from it.

But anyone who believes there is truly equal justice for all in this country is only fooling themselves.

I don,t quite fit the mold of a full blown liberal an avid shooter / gun owner /hunter probably own more that most . But i do identify with the social injustice done to people no matter who they are . Wrong is wrong .Racism is not a debate .

So if you own guns that means your not a screaming liberal?

Are you another individual that believes racism is one sided?

I think his point is racism goes both ways.
so what is your stand on the 2nd amendment or any laws that threaten any part of it that could result in the banning or confiscation of any weapon that is legal as of today?

Wrong is wrong .Racism is not a debate .

    You’re right on both accounts.

He was wrong in driving drunk, fighting with the police, stealing a cop’s tazer and using it on the cop and then think he’s going to out-run the problems he’s caused.

Race wasn’t what started this. His being drunk behind the wheel of a car did. So don’t bring race into the face of facts. In fact the only ones here that are crying racism the loudest are those who want to perpetuate it. Why aren’t all these protesters and relatives hollering to the black community to not drive while drunk and to not be breaking laws that WE ALL HAVE TO FOLLOW. Can the idea that this was about race.

I believe this started with a black man being held down with a knee in his neck and killed because of it ! The instance you are referencing recently happened . That is not what sparked the outrage across the country . Sure Tom everyone knows don,t drink and drive . But you know as well as me people of all color are still doing it . Trying to make this incidence look like drinking and driving is just a black problem does not hold water . People will not adhere to what you think they should be protesting .

It is a bunch of drunk drivers knocking over Statues? I would think they would look for something softer to run into.

I’m always willing to see someone else point of view, but Don, in your case all I got is a sore back. I just can’t bend that way.

I see you are part of the angry liberal media-driven mob, Ryan. Pretty sad.[/quote
Hey Ryan , bill’s on your team

Leave it to the left to be their own worst enemy — again, Bill Maher said Friday night.

The “Real Time” host slammed the “Defund the police” mantra — claiming the slogan threatens any gains in police reform that liberals and Democrats may have hoped to gain following the death of George Floyd.

Many people are simply unclear about what “Defund the police” even means, he said during his opening monologue.

“Liberals want to take police money, police funds and divert it to community services, which sounds like a very good thing, good idea,” Maher said. “But they’re calling it ‘Defund the police,’ which sounds bad!

“That’s so ‘Democrats’ for you,” he continued. “You know, they must have meetings to be this f—ing stupid about politics. ‘Hey guys, we’re making some headway here, how could we turn this into something that makes people have to vote for Trump?'”

Later, during the show’s panel discussion, Maher reiterated that the “defunding” branding was a “terrible way to put it,” noting how “only a third” of black Americans support the idea of defunding the police. He also pointed to the ousting of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey from a Black Lives Matter protest because the mayor said he wouldn’t abolish the city’s police department.

“I worry that Democrats are wandering into another purity test that’s not going to serve them well,” Maher said. “And it’s going to be about how much you want to get rid of police altogether.”

Maher went on to praise Democratic lawmakers for their “very good” police reform bill, but mocked “woke liberals” for the uproar over top Democrats wearing kente cloths in honor of George Floyd.

Comedian Larry Wilmore called it the “Pander Express on the highway,” but Maher defended the Democrats since the Congressional Black Caucus had asked them to wear the kente cloth and stressed they “would have gotten more s—” if they refused.

“The Democrats … they’re horrible. They put themselves in this no-win box and they did it to themselves,” Maher complained.
