I’d like to try walleye fishing on the wisconsin river system, using navionics web app i can see the contours and breaks along the channel and stuff but id like to learn more about where the walleyes are.
Early/late day?
Mid Day?
Should I be fishing the channel mid day or the shallow channels that branch off? along the edges of the channel or just above the edge of the break down into the channel?
Early and Late day do they leave the channel? where do they go? I notice a lot of flat areas along the main channel that are shallow and surrounded by slightly deeper water, do the walleye travel around the edge of these flats or go on top of them late day?
I just want to learn more so i know what im doing next time i go out there, thanks.
