Targeting early season muskies

    Looking for some info never fished this in the winter where would be my best bets to target them for tipups thanks

    They closed November 30th in New York state and aren’t open again until the last weekend in May.
    Assuming you know that, this map shows nothing. No depths, nothing, just a bunch of squiggly lines.

    Tip up fishing for walleye’s last weekend and caught this 34″, nice fight, but was hoping it was a walleye, sure was fun. A quick picture and back he went. I’ve ice fished this area for many years and this is the first one I’ve caught which is a bit surprising as its loaded with muskie’s

    Thank you, I got lucky catching him, he was hooked in the snout, a week earlier I had another one on, maybe this fish, he cut me off coming out of the hole, I reached in but he got away, that was fun too. Musky season closes at the end of November in Wisconsin. It was early ice here in Northern Wisconsin, so I was able to be out hardwater fishing over the rifle season here. Good luck fishing !
