Just wondering if there are any Talon users out there that would be able to provide an honest review about how it works. Mostly concerned with rough water conditions and how well it holds the boat from pivoting around the anchor point ie if it keeps the front of the boat pointing in the same direction or if there is some swiveling. Thanks.

Don’t have one myself, but unless you have two, there will be swiveling.

    I have a 12′ Talon on my Skeeter MX1825.
How well it holds depends on the hardness of the lake bottom, wave hight, wind speed and the boat it is mounted on.
On really hard bottom even a 10 mph wind can cause the Talon to drag. On softer bottom it holds much better.
I haven’t tried it in waves much over 1′, but I doubt it would work at all in 2’+ waves.
As for spinning, it is usually not a problem if the wind direction is steady.

I like my Talon a good deal and use it every time I launch, load, or pull up to a dock, and of course while fishing.
