Talon on WX2000T

    Hi All,

I’m looking to finish rigging the business end of my WX2000T and adding a Talon. Does anyone know if there is enough space between the outboard and sponson to fit the Talon on the standard bracket or do I need to order the sandwich style bracket? I would be mounting it on the port side if that makes any difference.

    Thanks,
    Matt

We (SBC) have mounted several talons onto the Skeeter 2000T and Warrior 2090BT, we are using the standard bracket to mount directly to transom of the boat.
Attached are 3 pictures of a 2090 we have currently being rigged, but similar process for the Skeeter 2000T

Do you have to tip it down to get in a garage of ‘normal’ height.

I’ve already done that measurement since Minn Kota lists the overall height on their website. I have a 7′ door and the 10′ talon will fit as is. The 12′ would be about 4″ too tall if I remember correctly. I don’t want to mess around with a tilt bracket (won’t work well with splash guards and I’m bound to forget about it) so I’ve decided to sacrifice 2′ and go with the 10 footer.
