can’t wait to get on the water. Its been a brutal couple months and I need a little water therapy. By water therapy I don’t mean Corona.
Anybody hitting the water soon?

I’ve had mine in since the 30th of March. Just came in from a trip this morning. Got skunked but I could care less. Life is good – Enjoy yourself.
Lucky. My toon probably wont be out till well into May. This year is a wreck.

Spring finally arrived in the Northwoods!?! I’ve been joking with my parents it’s been spring for about 2 months in the concrete jungle, and they are going stir crazy with the weather added to Shelter in Place across the lake from you BT. Not sure when we will make it up there, but can’t wait!!!
It’ll be nice Kory!
Need to get the water Temps up in the channel.
Golf league starts May 5th!
The Day Enclosure kind of spoils you. It was nice this morning – that breeze had a bite to it. The wind was a pain but when that happens I just end up anchoring and tossing out a couple of cat rods with some cut bait and read a book. It was a beautiful morning.

Perfect! We’d like to add one to our Premier. Thank it’d be a fun week long trip in voyagers.
Ever spent much extended time in it?
I’m curious. Thanks, Scott
Mines still sheltering in place on shore. Ice was just pulling away from shore last Saturday. Planned to go up today but they predicted a inch of snow there so I decided to wait until tomorrow.
I made a trek up to Nevis last weekend Scott to get my pontoon since it was stored in my folks pole barn for the winter. I’ve got her all ready for the summer and will be making the trip up to the cabin in Hayward tomorrow.
I also picked up a new tiller today so I need to pull that up on Friday and start the break in.
Boy am I ready for some nice weather and relaxation!

Looks like a AlumaCraft electronics console?
you’ll really enjoy Hayward, some pretty cool options over there!
Been on pool 4 lately?

Got her in on Sunday.
I was out and popped a couple crappies last night. The wind died down for the first night in a couple weeks.Sure felt good!
How’s the new dock setup? I’m seriously thinking about doing it.
2nd year and all’s well.
Actually it’s a Starcraft Delta 188. They sell them now through the Boat Center, so I decided to give one a shot. Set up pretty much just like Alumacraft Competitor or Lund Pro Guide, but longer and wider for an 18 footer. Seems like a solid boat with pretty decent fit and finish. I guess we will see long term, but so far I really like it.

I haven’t been on pool 4 for a few years. Prior to this year I’d been spending my pre-spawn fishing time over on Green Bay, but didn’t have a fishing boat this spring………until yesterday that is! From this point on, I’ll be spending my time around our home lake.
How about you Scott? Have you been out fishing early season? We will probably make a trip up to Nevis around July 4th during the week. Maybe we can sneak out fishing!

I’ve never done any camping trips in it. I don’t trailer it – I keep it in a slip on the St Croix. Its nice having a boat in the water 5 minutes from the house ready to go whenever you want. I mostly cat fish so I’m out 4 to 5 evenings a week usually from about 7:00pm until about 1:00am. I’m an old retired guy so most of the time I’m just by myself. I fish border waters so I can fish up to 3 lines depending which side of the river I want to fish. Throw some big baits out – get the Twins on the radio – wait for that BIG one to come along.
I love your enclosure. I need to get one made for mine. Besides protection from the elements, it would be neat to sleep overnight sometime.
I won’t get mine out of storage for a couple of weeks, but here is a photo. Misty Harbor Biscayne Bay 22 footer. 4 pedestal fishing seats up front, 2 in back, L-couch in the middle. 150 HP Merc. Tritoon. The thing hauls. Two livewells, Helix 12 at the console, Terrova at the front. Turbo Swing over the motor in the back for skiing and tubing. Even have a ski locker, which is a massive amount of storage (it’s inside the middle toon).
The thing I like the most of that the side fence drops way down in the front and back in front of the fishing chairs. This is how all fishing pontoons used to be, but now most of them still have high walls right in front of the fishing chairs. I also find that a lot of the pedestal chairs are so close to the walls that your knees hit the walls. I spent hours climbing through all the makes at the Boat show a few years ago and was highly disappointed. Yes, the quality is better on the Premier and other brands, but they would not have worked out for me for fishing.
So I ended up with the Misty Harbor. It’s not the high-end finish like some of the other brands, but it’s good enough for me. I use it mainly for fishing anyway, so that was my number one focus.
Love my toon. So comfortable to fish from with all the room to stand up and walk around on a stable platform. Plenty of space to get out of the sun. So fun to bring out people of all ages. Easy for older family members to board. Just love it.
After this virus thing and the winter before it, I will be enjoying this thing like never before this summer. My happy place.
