My wife has a 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, it is an awesome vehicle. You will love the burb. I really like driving it around town and hauling the kids around in it. I also have a 2012 Ford F-150 with the Ecoboost, also an awesome rig. We use both to pull our 20 foot Skeeter. Day to day driving, you do notice the additional power of the 3.5 liter Ford ecoboost over the Chevy 5.3 vortec. But its not that big of a deal, the Tahoe feels lighter. The Tahoe has plenty of power, but the ecoboost is a rocket through the entire acceleration band. When it comes to pulling the boat, the Ford is in a different class. While the Tahoe does fine pulling, and does get the job done, the engine does get a workout up the hills, it always has to downshift and rev up the rpms when its stressed on inclines. With the Ford Ecoboost, we hardly notice the boat behind us, it is like a diesel engine that runs on gas. I have really been impressed with the F-150 as a boat puller. Not sure how Ford got that much power out of 3.5 liters, but its impressive. If I had to do it over, I would own the same two vehicles.

Congrats on the new ride. These things are built like tanks and they ride nice too. I love the Tahoe and I am sure you and the family will love the suburban too

Now get out and do some fishing! You’ve got to see how it tows anyway right?

👍😉 thanks Dave, can’t wait to be able to tug the boat to red wing, been out of the game since mid may, but sounds like I haven’t missed much, sure hope our river bounces back, and the problem is just that they are too well fed, and scattered!

I sure like my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali.
It comes in 7 seat or 8 seater.
make sure it has the factory towing package,
    which includes a trans cooler.
Pulls the Alum. Trophy 175, with F150 no prob.
Will probably trade for a new one end of this year.
    Zero complaints.
