Anyone or know anyone who’ve done classes here or traveled to one? Thoughts, opinions?

Certainly don’t think there’s a zombie apocalypse coming, or China invasion or I’ll be the new james bond but seems like it may be a fun and learning experience for a few days. Lil different than a typical vacation, which I would enjoy.

But if it’s just a bunch of immobile overweight suburban dads getting kicks out of making guns go pew pew in different places in different positions id pass.

There’s always some fudds at those classes but most are normal, preparedness minded people. Very fun! I recommend to everyone.

Bring a quality holster, Extra mags, be super mindful of the safety rules, and don’t try to go fast – be accurate first.

Why do they have to be immobile and overweight. Us Skinny dudes like to shoot to.

There is a place in forest lake as well. I have no idea what it’s about but it’s tactical training

Probably start w something local, then if I still find it entertaining will find something out of state, do some field stuff out in the Appalachians, maybe SW, haven’t googled much at all on what’s out there but imagine there’s some good stuff.

I haven’t personally been there yet, but a buddy of mine recommends Stock & Barrel in Eagan. He says they have excellent tactical classes!

Not sure if it would be an interest but doing a local uspsa or idpa match could be close to what youre looking for.

What types of shooting/ Tactical training you thinking? There’s always your standard square range, shooting at a target line from a firing line.

Could also do some shoot and move stations or CQB/ room entry.

And although it’s not for everyone, I love precision shooting. Something relaxing about locking into that focus to make a precise, accurate shot.

If you’re interested send me a PM and I’d be glad to put some ideas together and figure something out.

Ghost is a good program. Stay with reputable organizations and avoid the wannabes. Unfortunately there are a few “patriot” groups that host a training program and seek recruits into their cult. Plenty of good ones out there, just research them. I did a couple rifle / long range programs and came away with better techniques.

I did a 16 man get-together at a paint ball course for part of my bachelor party back in 2015. It was a blast.

I’m not gonna lie though, it does hurt. And it hurts even more when the paintball doesn’t explode.

I believe that he is forever disqualified from His Majesty’s Secret Service due to that unfortunate workplace incident with a nail gun.

You wouldn’t think it would be possible to shoot oneself more than three times during a single unfortunate sequence of events, but apparently, it is.

Deuces, has–ah hem–full functionality returned yet? I know the doctors thought it would take some time, so keep your, ummm, chin (!) up.
