    Nothing beats crappie!
If you haven’t tried Franks red hot in place of a milk and egg wash you’re missing out.

Just to not keep wasting my time a quick question. Will you ever post something thats not video?

I’m not into todays thing about “look at the video I shot today.” So if thats all you can do I won’t have to open your threads.

Just to not keep wasting my time a quick question. Do you ever wake up in the morning in a good mood? If you don’t want to Watch a video or open a post then don’t. Have a great day. Hope you get a chance to get out fishing this weekend and chill out a little !!!

Honestly, almost every post you make is condescending. It’s hard to read a thread anymore without you mocking or trashing someone’s point of view. Maybe shut the computer off for awhile and go outside.

    I still live you @dutchboy!

I have to agree with him. I get tired of people dumping their YouTube videos on forums everywhere and not contributing anything else. It’s obvious what they are doing.

Although instead of addressing it, I just choose to ignore them.

Get enough clicks on a youtube channel and you can start making money…which is what he is doing. So no, I did not watch it.

So what do you do with the meat that comes on the tacos originally? Or are you paying $1.49 for just the shell and the wilty e-coli lettuce?

    Whats the video about?

It’s ClickPimping and it’s about getting clicks on his YouTube channel so he can start making ad money. #DontClickThePimp

You can order the ingredients by themselves.

Also, I don’t monetize any of my videos. You won’t see a single ad on any of them. I create videos as a hobby for entertainment purposes only and have no need or desire for YouTube revenue. Clicks and video views mean absolutely nothing without monetization.
That being said, if people are dumbing YouTube videos here and running ads on them, then sure. I could see how that’d be annoying.

I have to agree with FT and Brian and I’ve heard Dutchboy make the comment “if you don’t like it then don’t click on it” many times especially in the Mille Lacs threads. It just sounds a little hypocritical when you say one thing and then blast another member for the same thing.

We all share the love for fishing but we all have various other hobbies. This guy likes to make You Tube videos and likes to share them. I see it no different than a member posting pictures of his dog every week. It’s an open forum and he’s posting in the GENERAL section so I see no harm especially since he’s not doing it for money.

I enjoyed the video as it reminded me that I need to make fish tacos this weekend. waytogo

You said about the same thing Marcus in your reply to the topic What would you have done? in the forum General Discussion Forum 15 days ago
We don’t put ads on our videos or make any money off of them. They’re only for entertainment so we don’t gain anything from views.

In order to make money with youtube the first step is to get people to click on your videos.
Here’s How You Can Actually Make Money With YouTube

I wish you the best of luck with your YouTube channel. But I won’t watch your videos on IDO. I would be willing to watch them on YouTube if that was what I was searching for.

Meh, perhaps. You also have to request to be monitized with the YouTube platform. I haven’t done that and don’t have any desire to. I find ads would be a bit annoying for viewers. I have friends that do monetize their videos and it really takes away from the content. They also only make a few dollars per 1,000 views so it just wouldn’t be worth it unless you had millions of subscribers.

I need to get a deep fryer than that. I always dread the mess I make doing it in a pan.

It’s been really convenient! Walmart has them pretty cheap and they’re definitely worth it

Hate to use the term “click bait” but essentially this is what it is. Could go on YouTube to find a video if I wanted… come here to read threads others post.

In his defence, he is replying now and not being confrontational in his replies. He’s given an explanation.

YouTube has greatly increased it’s threshold for monitizing videos. Now you have to do serious marketing or create a viral video to monetize.

    He’s back…….

Yes he is, but not yet falling into the level of provocation like the “redneck” thread.

As has been repeated here many times…”no likey…don’t clicky” doah

What’s the point of reading an opening post or thread and then commenting…I don’t like reading your posts or watching your videos?

I’m okay with Marcus posting his videos as long as it doesn’t turn into spitting on each other.

This one was kind of fun and informative…although I “dis” the suggestion for replacing the crappie with store bought tilapia. mad

I don’t go searching or spending my day looking on YouTube for entertainment. But if some pop up here, I more likely will watch.

And BTW, I just posted one on the Mille Lacs netting thread. Might be worth watching for some. But for those that wish not to watch it, don’t post back you don’t want to watch…just don’t watch it.

Hey Andy! I appreciate the support. Glad you found it fun. I have a ton of friends and family that watch he videos and don’t fish so I had to offer a solution to them. I don’t think I’d touch Walmart tilapia with a 10 foot pole. Maybe the Franks would help with it though.

Man that guy with a us flag avaiter always has his undies in a bunch, does he ever have anything positive to say….ever?

I enjoyed the show, can you get Doritos taco shells at the local Taco Bell? I like sriracha sour cream and lime. Keep them coming.

Why wouldn’t you touch it with a 10 foot pole if that is what you recommended? Do you offer a solution too friends and family that wouldn’t be in the best interest of yourself often?

Did you ever get a picture of the no trespassing sign?

I have no pony in this dog fight, but just curios.

You can! They were about 50 cents a piece. I know Walmart sells the nacho cheese flavored taco shells in a box though.

I’ve just been spoiled on good Crappie spots so I couldn’t imagine eating packaged tilapia. I guess there was once a time when I would have though.

I havent gotten a picture. It literally is an old faded 8×10 no trespassing sign with some county ordinance posted on it that’s faded out. Police stated it was indeed for the lot and that fishing in kayaks as long as we didn’t launch from a lot was fine. They ran that by him as well. We’ve been back out there and he drove by without stopping. So far so good.

Agree with the other guys, dutchBOY needs to find a hobby or something. And his “fan club,” as well as anyone who mentions it being a thing, is pretty laughable. Anyways, nice video Marcus. I also liked the one of you and your wife taking your (son?) fishing as it really showed how good of people you are. Take care.
