Yeah I haven’t been to a large concert in a long time. The prices and then fees on top of the prices make it completely not worth it to me. I’ve been to many concerts but not in the last ten years. Sad really.

We got an email at work today that parking and public transit will be extremely difficult this weekend because of the swiftie invasion. I can hear the screaming already. smash

No swift for us. But I’ll be at every metal show that comes through town. And they don’t rip you off on tickets either

The only people I’d pay to watch are all dead now, so much for that.

I’m not a big fan of concerts. I just don’t get paying all that money to sit in a super packed venue just to hear the CROWD sing…

I would not pay that kind of bucks to see anybody in concert. That being said IMO shes good, shes pretty, and she does not seem to get into any kind of trouble so there you go

My wife and oldest daughter are going, they didn’t pay even close to $1500 a ticket, not even close to that for two but it was still a lot for my liking. I would go if someone gave me a ticket, I bet the the scenery is going to be mighty nice.

Don’t go to the new pop music shows, try a metal show. I hate crowds but the energy and environment is hard to not have a great time. And you wont be able to hear the crowd. Knotfest in Iowa 2 years ago was a great one. We are headed to Detroit later this summer for sevendust, static x, and dope. The best shows used to be at the triple rock. Raw punk rock or metal shows are as good as it gets.

There was a line already formed by 6am this morning for official Swift apparel outside the stadium. Like 40 deep too. It doesn’t open until 10am and they charge 65 bucks for an official SWIFT t-shirt. shock

I haven’t been to a concert in a couple decades. Would consider doing it for someone like Church or Stapleton, but at these prices it would be tough. Never understood the draw to T swift. She can write songs, finding out there are a few she wrote others are performing and are good songs.

Going to see him in NC with the Belle in September. It will be special because he’s from there.

    Yikes!

I really hate this site sometimes. I used the “link” option and it still doesn’t put the link in…

Google Red Rocks amphitheater. Huge hail storm there last night.

Same here, just can’t justify $200+/per person tickets, going with the Mrs and out to eat and beverages you’re creeping up on $1k for one night of entertainment. Plus the sound sucks at US Bank, and most stadiums.

But I’ll be at every metal show that comes through town. And they don’t rip you off on tickets either

Metallica is $200+ for anything on the lower level, $1300+ for the mosh pit/floor. And still well over $100 for nosebleeds. No thanks.
