Since some brought it up anyone else care to share some good stands or farms to hit. Since we are just now finally seeing some for sale. Seems like there used to be a lot more of these stands years ago. I have had decent luck in Nowthen I think it was off 47 and 22.

LOL. TBH its worth the drive to Sartell and check out the corn at the Traut farm across from Upper Deck. Its $7 a dozen and it is the best corn I have ever had. Typically the first few days its subpar for some reason, but this year it was fantastic! Coborns approached him about selling it in their stores and he refused. He said he would rather people not get gouged and wasnt doing it for the money. In 2010 we had a bad storm roll through and it wiped out all the pine trees to the West of where he used to plant it. He said that was the best thing because in the afternoon they shielded them from all the hot sun. Now he has to plant it in a new spot. It is still fantastic though.

My kids are counting the days til ours is ready. Should be 8 or 9 days. A little rain would definitely help right now. No One local is selling yet but sure someone will beat us to it. One year ours was first and I couldnt pick it fast enough.

Just bought some corn at the cabin in Cumberland WI on Saturday. It was pretty good. Kernals were kind of on the small side. Ears were decent sized but it was 11.00 a dozen. They said it came from Rochester area.

Don’t be shy about looking at the cobs and asking for mid or even small kernals, really effects the taste and texture-wait, is anyone shy on the site?hmmm.

All good and the same, I thought about having mods nuke mine, however so far all your responses on yours have been St Could ish. I was hoping someone in my neck of the woods had some intel. Lol So maybe they both work.
