I know this is kinda short notice but was wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping a deer hunt for a day of walleye fishing on pool 2? Im not a real serious deer hunter any more. To many walleyes to catch this time of year. Would like to get my son a shot at a deer. The spots we hunt seem to be few and far between the deer sightings. Im not looking for a trophy deer hunt either. We would be more than happy with a nice doe or 2 to fill the freezer. Something with in a hour or 2 of the twin cites would work great.

If you have read the reports in the Mississippi river walleye forum you most likely have seen the big walleyes are biting on the river right now. I wouldn’t say I can guarantee catching a big fish on a trip but I can guarantee you will be fishing areas where there are big walleye to be had. I would be happy to trade a trip out on pool 2 for a hunt. We could do the trip this fall. The river should be open maybe even into mid December this year. Or if you are to busy hunting we could bank it until next spring or summer.

Send me a PM or phone call if anyone is interested.

Not to mention you would be fishing with a fully licensed Captain. Mike consistently puts big fish in the boat. He puts a LOT of time in on the water!

Thanks Jon. To much time on the water is the exact reason my deer hunting needs help.
