looking for BWCA trip partner for this summer!

First of all, I happen to be an Auld Phart!(72) So if the idea of fishing with an Auld Phart turn’s you off, go away! Would like to launch from the end of the Gunflint Trail. I like to launch there cuz you still can use a motor all the way out to American Point. I started fishing on Saganaga since shortly after God invented dirt! I know of a honey hole in that area where I can very nearly guarantee that you can catch a 10 lb+ walleye! Would love to get up there one more time before I start pushing daisy’s! DIRTBALL2

We used to fish Sag for the opener. My buddy caught and released 3 10+ lb fish one Spring. Full of Spawn and willing eaters. My best was only 4 lbs.

It was a very cold Spring – that year. Must have been perfect timing.
