have boat/ need musky!

I am going to be up in the rice lake area all weekend with my bass boat. I wanted to get out musky fishing but really don’t know much about it. I’ve always been a diehard bass mann but am broadening my horizons. I have access to all the gear for muskys but would love to either get out on the water with someone who knows what they’re doing. I’d be game for meeting anywhere within an hour of rice lake. I have a 19′ champion we can fish out of or I would get in someone elses boat. Shoot me a pm if you’re intersted. Kevin. I work for the DNR up here in Barron and I live in Rice Lake. We did a comprehensive study last Spring out on Rice Lake and did very well with numbers and Size. Rice Lake is an awesome musky fishery that is new and upcoming. Definitly has not hit its prime yet. The only problem is that it gets weedy in the summer but I am sure they can still be found. Another great lake to try would be Lac Courte Oreilles. Awesome deep water Cisco filled lake and about a 45 minute drive from RL. If you need any names to other lakes around the area let me know. I have lived in RL my whole life. PM me if needed
