Does it feel great to be back on the ice again. We made it out for the first time this evening. The walleye fishing started just as it left off this fall, Excellent! We caught some really nice eyes in 7 ft of water along a weed line. The walleyes ranged in size from 13-22 inches and we did manage to pick up some real nice Jumbos(10-13) inches. That’s the great thing about early ice is that you can fish multi species in the same areas. Theres nothing like reeling up that first fish of the season!
