MIlle Lacs First ice.

    I am a newbie concerning Mille Lacs in winter. Anybody interested in letting me tag along for a day trip this early ice? I am fully equipped, self-contained, and mobile with an ATV – I just know nothing of the pond in the wintertime. In return, I can provide a hot lunch and a early season trip on the upper St Croix for walleyes next spring (we get two weeks of eye fishing before the MN inland opener)

    Oh yeah – forgot to mention – I am interested in the early fishing for eyes – I have no interest in targeting perch!

    Do I actually have to ice-fish to get the hot meal and St. Croix trip, or can I wait in the truck???

    I was just on the pond last weekend and we founds lots of future eaters. I would be more then willing to help you get on some spots on the pond especially early ice.
