Salmon Trip for Walleye Trip

I’m looking to trade a trip with someone on Lake Michigan (WI side) for a salmon trip. I would be willing to trade a trip to Oconto, Lake Winnebago, or the Mississippi river for Walleyes. I’m a FLW league boater, so I can any time except the weekend before and the weekend of WI FLW Walleye League events.

Send me a PM if interested. I have a big enough boat for salmon fishing, but don’t have all the tackle (this Walleye stuff is expensive enough). Therefore, I’d like to go with somebody who knows what they’re doing and can help me eliminate unneccesary lures.

Check with Nicky Boy in Port Washington, I think that he’d be interested in something like that. He is a pro at salmon fishin. His name is Nick Waranka. I have personaly caught a ton of salmon with this guy, he’s the best!

Wimwuen….Lake Michigan for Winnebago sounds good to me. Never really spent much time on Winny since I favor the rivers in spring and fall, plus some local lakes in Waukesha county. Start hitting the Big Pond in June and fish it thru Augus, before heading back to inland water. gotta pick and choose the days based on wind/weather, since I fish out of a 1785 Yarcraft Wrangler….nice and deep, but not when those waves stir up to 5 ft. or more….just not a very comfortable ride. Set up with 2 downiggers, plus the dipseys and leadcore. Pretty flexible with schedule, so should be easy to coordinate something around your competition. Keep in touch.
