    Hi all. I am new to fishing for eyes on the river and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out. I have a boat but would like to be able to ride with someone to help me out with my navigation skills too. So if someone is willing to be my coach please let me know. Thanks

    wHEN ARE YOU GOING DOWN THERE? i JUST GOT BACK AFTER SPENDING 5 HOURS ON THE RIVER AND SAW 3 FISH GET CAUGHT. nOT INCLUDING A STURGON AND A GAR. (I THINK).Pretty slow.

    Well me and my dad are going out today around 3. But sometime this weekend either saturday or sunday.

    Troy.Welcome to IDA.If you and your Dad get out this afternoon,I would head down river from Red Wing,we spent the day down there yesterday and spanked the eyes and saugers.Orange jigs and fat head minnows worked best.Time on the water will get you onto fish or you might want to hire James or Dustin for a day, they know this river well.
