We were just out last weekend on S. Center, between Pancake Island and the point. Quite a few people out there, one guy was complaining how slow things were while I was drilling a few holes, walked around till I saw some activity toward the bottom on my Vex. The gills were very active, had to sort through them to end up with some eaters. We did end up with a good pile for the fry pan. 6-8 fow, I had a gold jig with a waxie. We did catch some crappie around 5pm when we switched to minnows, and really had a flurry around 6pm, when we had to leave for supper. I know some have had some luck in the two deep pockets over by the boat landing, more than likely they are suspended so electronics is a key. The ice was 9-10 inches thick, with a thick layer of slush/snow, nobody had driven a truck out there, just sleds and atv’s. Good luck.
