    Hey guys, It’s looking like I have nothing better to do tomorrow than go fishing, I’m plannning on heading out sometime tomorrow morning ish, probably 9-10 am MAYBE earlier… and fishing probably no later than 4:30 or so, I don’t have any real plans for tomorrow, so time is a bit open too. Looks like it’s going to be a nice day out there.

    Where A “local lake” for panfish.

    My boat 1650 lund rebel with a 40 on it, not spectacular, not too bad.

    I’ll be online from time to time tonight, post up and send me a pm. we’ll work out the details.

    This post is posted on 2 boards so it’s first come, basis. Thanks!

    Nick

    Edit: I’m going crappie fishing tomorrow.

    Well I was hoping to find someone to fish with, because it always seems you can learn something from someone, plus sometimes it’s nice just to have company.

    It’s sad there seems to be very, very little traffic on this site of people that fish lakes.

    Ack doesn’t matter anyways weather sucks today anyways, I think I try for tomorrow, and work on some projects around the house.

    Don’t worry guys, I don’t tell anyone else that I only have a IDA hat.

    Nick…I try never to miss a opportunity to take a shot at “other” sites or golf…it’s kinda fun. But you are right about the lakes. Once my browser went goofy and found it’s self looking at the Hutchinson area lakes forum on some site….never did find it again.

    I thought the reason of the very low traffice was because in a lakes (don’t count the big lakes..Millacs, Winni and leech) there is such a small area to fish, it seemed like no one wanted to let it out…But there’s chatter on other sites…so I crossed that off my list.

    Personally I seldom fish lakes..couple times per year in the Hutch area, more in winter and I generally post that…
    Any other reasons the lakes forums aren’t yakking?

    Oh yeah…did you get out today?

    Never did get out, weather was kind of crappy, and for whatever reason I just didn’t feel like it, that being said if anyone would’ve taken me up on the offer, I would’ve been there is a heartbeat. SO I just stayed home and saved a bit of money instead. God knows I would’ve had to get bait, which means I’d have to go into gander mountain, and so help me I can’t leave there without spending more money than planned.

    I am on days this week so I hope to still find some time to make it out, before I have to move the boat to it’s winter spot, which by no means says I’m not taking it out anymore, I’ll just have to go to burnsville to pick it up

    Nick;

    Since you are in Lakeville;
    Do you get out on Marion much? I have pike fished it in the winter a few times and had some good fun out there. Sometimes the pike were decent sized (5+lbs). 10 to 15 fish days on tip ups were common for us.

    I’m not really a pike fisherman for say, but I know it’s a good lake for that, I wish I could find some of the elusive walleyes in there, I did catch a dozen or so this year, all of which went under 8 inches , I keep thinking of night trolling it before it ices up. If you plan a trip out you should send me a pm, I’ll stop on out, I could stand to catch a few nice pike, for pike anyways I’m a C&R person anyways. I’m no more than a mile away from the lake.

    Yep, same here with the CPR on pike.

    Our fun too, with this is dropping a camera in a hole, finding the little sunnies. Start catching them things, then all of a sudden they scoot……..Yep, a pike rolls in. Then we drop down a jig/sucker minnow and watch all the fun on the camera as the pike slam the sucker!!!!!

    Man-o-man, do I love jigging pike on a camera!!!!!!

    There have been times when we will get 2 or 3 hammer handles coming in for the sucker and just when they go for the strike………you pull it away from them………Wow! Do they get mad!!!!!!!

    If you have never jigged for pike with a camera, try it. It is a ton of fun!!!!!!!
