Anyone interested in some big flatheads? I run pool 13 & 14 all year and get into some pretty nice fish. I am by no meams a guide but I do a lot of night fishing and mostly alone. Not very safe I know. I’m just throwing this out there that I have an open seat or two most of the time. Once the shad start to run I will be chasing cats. So if you are interested just pm me and I will let ya know the dates I am going to be fishing. I work swing shifts at a chemical plant so I have days off during the week which is nice. So again I’m not asking for a fee just someone to fish with who has the same drive that I do to catch big cats.

I wish I still lived in the area, if I did I would defiantly have to take you up on that. I used to love fishing pools 13 and 14 when I was working in Albany. Good luck out there stay safe and I hope to see some pics soon of those big Mississippi cats!

I’m still trying to figure out how to post pictures from my phone. I will have a few up when I get it figured out.

Bill wish you were up north a little more. I’m a die hard flathead guy. Mainly catch and release. If you’re ever in the Winona area let me know. I’d enjoy a fishing partner. Have you had any luck this year?

I’ve caught a couple small channels while walleye fishing. Have not really tried for flats yet. Water temp is only about 40. Still a little cold. I will be after them soon if the weather starts to warm up.

I nearly shipped my pants a week ago. Saw one in about 2 feet of water at the dam saloon in fountain city. Seen maybe a day or two after the first warm stretch we had.

Probably flushed out of it’s hole with the increased current. That or a poacher/snagger….
