Looking to get out Sunday somewhere with in a hour north of the twin cities. Usually fishing buddies are all ready gone for the weekend all ready. Anyone looking for company? Most likely go find a place to fish crappies.

I’ll most likely be going to Monticello for some SMB action, then toss out some cutbait once it gets dark, got waders?

Plan on being back for the Super Bowl? I wouldn’t mind hitting a certain lake we have discussed before that I believe you have never fished.

I finally have a day off and will be heading out somewhere Sunday. We are heading up to the horseshoe chain to chase some cats today.

So what time does the game start Mike? Usually fish until right before dark. Then might stop for a beer and burger on the way home. Still not sure of where to go yet. Got a few different options that I may just have to sleep on and decide in the morning. Long day slinging pipes and its time for a beer and a nap now.

I don’t have any either, seem to do OK with the muck boots. Someones got to check to see if there are any fish alive after the plant shutdown, and usually when the cut bait and circles come out, the cracking of beers begin. Good luck on the ice.

5:30 kick off. It was a long afternoon yesterday with Michelle’s birthday so this kind of dropped off my radar. It probably would have been tough being SB Sunday.

Seemed like most everyone stayed in for SB sunday. Little breezy out this afternoon but still a nice day. Fish where a little on the picky side. Did find some nice sized sunnies that where active on the shrimpos. Crappies where not so active.

next weekend same plan, different lake.
