Open seat Upper Mississippi 11/20

    I plan on leaving Coon Rapids around 8 am and fishing up by st cloud on the Mississippi. Pitching and jigging for eyes is my plan for the day.

    50° days are numbered. If it wasn’t for the wind tomorrow it would be a perfect day on the miss.

    Nice thing nowadays it seems if you find the fish, they will be in the same areas, but just different moods. I got a spot down by Boom island for shore smallies and one day hitting chart. paddletails aggressively, the very next with no bump in weather or flow will need live bait and to sit on bottom for at least 5-10 seconds before hitting it. Gonna try to make it out in the morning before work and will see what kind of mood they are in. I think you are going to have an awesome day on the river no matter the wind. This cold coming in eyes will be smacking
