Swanville area turkey hunting

    First morning in the blind. Limited to a small area of land so I set up the ground blind and will just wait it out. Could not get anything to gobble on the roost last night. Woke up to an hour long heavy rain. Thank god for the ground blind. Heard one gobble an hour after shooting hours started so we will see.

    Wow is it dead around here. Had a few hens out in a plowed field that were being pretty vocal but they walked off. Have only heard one gobble and that was this morning.
