Suzuki outboard service?

Question – who, in the Hudson area, services Suzuki outboards? My boat is in the shop and turns out some critters decided to nest under the cowling and ate up some wires. Insurance is good – said they’d cover it all but I need to take it somewhere that will work on the outboard (DF140). I towed the boat over to Imperial in Hudson to look get a paint-job estimate but Jim said he won’t do the engine wiring…

    Thanks in advance!

I can’t think of an authorized suzuki shop on the st. croix off the top of my head. Dan’s Southside in Bloomington MN might be your best bet. 40 minutes or so from Hudson.

I think Dan’s might be your best option since Maplewood Marine went out of business. They replaced my hydraulics last year.

Call Roberts marine in Roberts. He specializes in the merc but also works on other stuff and is good.

I second that. They worked on my Suzi and did a great job!

OK, Any recommended shops in SW Metro.
I know Dan’s but like smaller independent shops like Maplewood Marine was.

any thoughts on St Croix Marine and Power in Somerset? Their website says they’re authorized Suzuki service…

Will also need some re-wiring in the boat as well…

I have a guy that works at a dealer and moonlights in his shop. VERY reasonable and reliable. He’s in the Lindstrom area. PM inbound.

I’d second Roberts Marine but the bigger question, are you back in WI for awhile? Fishing season anyway?

Hey Cougar! Not back yet – putting the house on the market here soon – hoping to be moving late June/early July. Will have to find temp housing as our construction won’t be done until fall.
