This September is our 6th anniversary and today my wife booked our anniversary ‘gift’. Two days fishing with none other than Mr. Paul Delaney himself. We had talked about doing this last year but some other things came up but it’s going to happen now. Will be looking forward to this trip all summer.

Nothing better than the joy of being married to the right one. Now figure out something special for her.

We are taking 5 days over there so once we square away accommodations that is the next step (other places she wants to go). Hoping to do a stop at Lambeau on the way home, I’ve driven by a few times but never been in the stadium.

Will be kind of wierd to have been at Lambeau and the new vikes stadium (metallica concert) this year and neither time to watch a football game.

If you can still say that after many years you are truly lucky.

Lambeau is a great day trip, my wife and I spent our honeymoon in Door County and visited/toured Lambeau on one of our days. Totally worth it for the tour and hall of fame ticket combo.

If your staying in Door County, I highly recommend Ephraim as a place to stay several nice B&B type places if that’s what your into. The best part for us while we stayed was that once on the peninsula everything is really within easy driving time so no matter where you stay it’s pretty reasonable to venture as far as you like.

Paul is great to fish with. I made it over there the first week in May. We didn’t have the numbers but all the fish that were caught were big.
