I’ve not been in the area fishing since June. Too many other things going on and blah, blah, blah. Got my Hbird back from support and heading up to the cabin on Friday. Probably hit Gull since it’s the most convenient but could easily trailer a few minutes away.
Anyone been out at all? got any info to share?

Couple weeks ago we were up in the area with a hot streak of weather and found a good pattern of frogging for big bass. Deeper pads, had to be about 3-4′ with access to deeper water. And freaking deep in em! Not those lil areas holding small pods, really had to be a bigger area and bring up the motor and paddle your way back, further the better. Dark bellies were key on baits. The plan was to post a fishing report when I got back to work. Didn’t put a line in the water.
Saturday was cloudy and would have been nice to get out. Instead we went to the Classic Boat Show at Bar Harbor. 60-70 old and many extremely cool boats. Time well spent. In the afternoon we went out to see the old boats cruising too.
Sunday – hot, sticky, and a better idea for a couple beers in the runabout. Out with the family for a few hours and then back to the cities.
