    Manning threw 17 yes 17 intercepts his final year and only 9 TDs with a 59% completion percentage. Saying Keenum isn’t better than Manning in his final year is laughable.

    Lol. Keenum.

    The stats speak for it

    Peyton Manning played in 4 Super Bowls and won 2.
    Get back to me in 10 years about Keenum.

    You have to remember that those Philly fans that behaved badly wont be coming here because it’s for high rollers.Lets root for the NFC

    BTW if you want to make a few bucks bet Philly-they will win-more explosive on both sides of the ball-conservative and competent when needed. NE has the experience but it won’t be enough.

    it appears the Vikes are in on the boycott as well! they must have been one step ahead of you since they collectively decided they didn’t want anything to do with the SB

    If you looked what we were actually talking about you would’ve known I said Keenum played better this year then Manning did in his last year. I like how you just said something without even knowing what we were talking about.

    Only thing I’ll be watching on supper bowl Sunday is my cards. I go to a party that is over 25 and close to 30 years go ‘in on. Best appetizers on the planet, Pizzas, smoked meats, chilli, Italian soups, sausages of various types, abt’s, beverages of your choice and a large card party of your own favorite games. The party starts at mid morning and lasts till mid morning. We have shortened it a bit as we are getting a bit older, don’t cha no,, roll

    I have a sister in law who is related. Something like her Grandpa is a brother to his grandpa, along those lines. Didn’t stop me from rooting against the pats in the past.

    It should be obvious but perhaps not so to everyone. We each root for whichever team for whatever personal (or other) reasons. Let’s just leave it at that.

    So now the restaurants ask if you play pro ball when making reservations? Brilliant!!!!

    Most absurd thing I’ve heard in a LONG time.

    NFL = entertainment
    WWF = entertainment
    Etc.

    Enjoy the influx of visitors and lets show them MN nice.

    Life’s short…..

    I’m not boycotting anything. However I’m not setting foot in Mpls for any reason this week either. I know the NFL really, really needs my money from seeing what they are charging at the NFL Experience. I would think this would be the greatest event in the world to get kids excited. But alast, the gouging being done all around from tickets to parking to restaurants to cocktails…. no thanks.

    I’ll be home in the chair, cold soda in hand, snacks close by watching Mr. Belechick prove once again he is light years ahead in this game of football. If the game gets outa hand I can just pick up a book.

    If you are looking forward to the next Super Bowl in Mpls……….it will be in 25 years when the NFL extorts another stadium from the tax payers of the state. It’s the NFL reward not to mention a big money maker.

    I have been reading this since it was put up.I have been wondering,on game days in the cities are all the Viking fans nice and cordial?I assume nobody drinks and yells obscenities at the visiting team and fans.I’m sure the visitors can count on being invited in to homes for fresh baked cookies.IT’S JUST A GAME! This goes on every where college and pro games.Just move on-watch the game-don’t watch it.Your not changing a damn thing by whining about it.

    Many Philly fans have been idiots for years. They have a tradition to keep up.
    That said every team has a few.

    I’m thinking about the 2003-4 season. I went to Lambeau with my parents and girlfriend (now wife) to watch the Packers beat the Seahawks in the wildcard round. This was the famous Matt hasselbeck “we want the ball and we’re gonna score” overtime game. Al Harris got the pick 6 right in front of us, never heard or felt anything that loud. I was on cloud 9.

    The next week they lost at philly. 4th and 26 mcnabb to Freddie Mitchell in the 4th quarter to force OT, then we favred it away from there.

    I remember a lot of small details, the friends sharing in agony in my parents basement.

    I don’t remember giving two sheets about the eagles fans that day. And certainly not a week later. Losing sucks but you guys need to move on. Find something else to be angry about, shouldn’t be too tough.

    I’ve been to many college and pro games, and this mob mentality does not happen. Ever.

    P2F that game was in 2003, so maybe it wasn’t as well documented pre-social media or it wasn’t as bad then, but it still doesn’t make it acceptable. I’d be just as opposed to this behavior regardless of the outcome of the game.
