Anyone watching this bad boy rise? Its supposed to appear about 17% larger tonight due to its nearness to earth right now. This picture is from tonight at 8:30 pm. Must be smoke in the air to get the red.

It’s beautiful tonight! I tried getting a picture but my phone sucks at capturing quality moon shots. I didn’t really feel like going in a grabbing my camera. It was a golden color around 10pm tonight. Very pretty!

I was wondering what happened to the moon! It didn’t peek out of the smoke/haze for such a long time.

Fishing was ok, but we didn’t set a record.

JT’s first sturgeon at 57.5 inches. He and his dad asked me a couple of times “how does a sturgeon fight?”

While the rod was bent under the boat and line was being pulled out of the cinched down drag I said, “That’s how a sturgeon fights!” hah

I’m not sure if we had a Super Sun today, but the haze sure made for a warm/fuzzy time by the picnic table.
