Congrats on the HOF
Might have been the biggest offensive threat of my time.
Jerry Kramer made it this year too……about time,he deserved it….
Congrats to both
I’ll never forget the day he lit up the Packers. It was like he was playing against a Pop Warner team.
I liked the time he tried running over a cop. The good times never ended with him!
he sure was fun to watch in the Vikings uniform!!!! you know what they always found in the packers end zone………………….MOSS!!!!!!!
I’ll never forget the day he lit up the Packers. It was like he was playing against a Pop Warner team.
In the sixties they didn’t…..
Kramer is the twelfth man of that team to be HOF………
Even Packer haters should respect that….

Maybe, however as usual the Packer guys NEED to chime into a thread that has nothing to do about the Packers. They have nothing to talk about except to take a shot at the Vikings. Of course it’s understandable this year when their team collapsed, the Vikings won the division, The Super Bowl is being hosted in Minnesota in a covered stadium, that has padded seats and heat.
Now you guys can go start your own thread about the Packer legends or continue to post here to derail this thread. Your choice, I can play anyway you want to play.
Yes Mudshark. Be respectful, kind and considerate like Viking fans treat our threads.

Damn Dutch….I’ve known you for quite a few years on this site and always thought you were a decent fellow but the Packer hating has turned you mean and unreasonable….
The thread had to do with the HOF,I didn’t realize I would be stepping on anybody toes just by mentioning Kramer…..Has this smack talk really come to that??
You know what bud?….I’ve always had a great deal of respect for the Viking greats,Grant,Tarkenton, the purple people eater’s and all the other fine teams you guy’s have had over the years……I respect great players because it’s a tough game and to stand out from you peers means you a top player…..no matter what uniform they wear….
If “playing” is what you want I will have no part of it…….I’m too damn old for games anymore….Just like I’m too damn old to hate anymore…..
Enjoy your day bud
My reply wasn’t aimed at you. It was aimed at the same two or three guys that always run their yap and then turn everything into a Vikings vs Packer thing. And yes, I am tired of all the football crap, but you just can’t post anything anymore and it starts. I stayed away from it all last year and I guess I should just stay away from it altogether.
I can’t really comment on the Packer teams from that era because there wasn’t that much coverage in those days. However if you read the articles and watch the old TV clips they had some great players back then.
Sorry Mudshark.

Pretty funny how you were the first one to say anything about the Packers.
X2 on Jerry Kramer making the HOF. His book Instant Replay is a pretty good read also. I am not a football fan anymore but Kramer was a great player.
At least you understand I was referring to you.
I wasn’t the one convicted of domestic battery and kicked out of FSU for
breaking rules of probation( using drugs)
Shame on the HOF.

Sheesh ya big baby what do you expect? That is the game you’ve played for years.
Would you want to be judged for the rest of your life for something you did when you were in college? I’m pretty sure almost everyone did stupid things in college, but then you learn from it and grow up.
I don’t think there was a better threat at wide receiver than Moss. Definitely a HOF player based on his football accomplishments.
Most of people’s issues with Moss are about his non football plays.

I agree with that. Most of us have made mistakes and eventually learned from them. I like Moss and he’s fun to listen to on tv. I also hope joe buck has forgiven him for mooning us packer fans. Talk about overreacting.
He had been out of college for quite awhile when he pushed the female cop down the road in MPLS. with his car bumper.
But never mind.
Lets just agree that hes a thug and the Packers are the best team in the Tri-state area.
Just watch the video of him getting the knock on his hotel room door and tell me that that man is still a thug. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U33TD0Q0zrM
People do change man, it happens.
Judge, jury , and executioner . Shame on the hall of fame , that’s a laugh

He did take responsibility for his actions…
Well deserved for Randy Moss. As for his onfield and off transgressions were little of importance and petty, when one really looks at these transgressions, in the grand scheme of things that lead to judgment from some. I can not see where he could be called a thug.
That Nov. 17, the day after Moss broke two Division I-AA receiving records, he was charged with domestic battery after arguing with the mother of his two children, Libby Offutt. Later, he said he had simply been restraining Offutt; Offutt’s father, Frank, said, “They were both to blame.”
His choices he has made,I have say, I did not care for but I wont judge him on those actions because I’ve seen worst that have been overlooked and I don’t know him personally and I was not there to witness the most gratuitous actions. I’m sure I’ve done worst things with my choices and I have never been called a thug an arse at times, sure.
Sorry Mudshark.
All’s good bud
Just don’t quote my post to make a point…..
As far as football from that era…….The very first game I watched on TV was the 1965 NFL Championship game when I was 12….I was instantly hooked on Football….In the next years I watched any game on TV I could, and if not I had my handy 6 Transistor AM radio to listen to…..
To me that when Football was Football…….Starr, Unitas,Trankenton,Meredith…….Grant,Lambeau,Landry….These were my heros….
Whiles today’s players and coaches are very good and have their place in history these men were MEN!
at least the Vikings and Packers can agree on one thing,,,,
HRG
Congrats to # 54, too,,,,,,

Nope you were just the one using the instance of a mass shooting in which many lives were destroyed to make a joke about the NFL. Clearly you are the right person to make character claims. Carry on

The Bears are only 1 super bowl behind you so there’s that. (1966, 1967 are World Championships for the Packers not Super Bowls.) Before all the Packers fans say this is untrue do research.

Well…not exactly. It wasn’t World Championships it was NFL Championships before the NFL and AFL merged before the 1970 season, forming the NFC and AFC within the NFL. The Packers did win the NFL Championship for 66 and 67 but also won the Super Bowls those years as well. The Super Bowl then was more of just an exhibition. Check out the attendance for them.
