I don’t know the answer, but have you seen how expensive brand new boats are?

    But a new boat lasts longer than 4 hours…….$4500 X 2 = $9000…..
    That’s 1 heck of a day……

That seems like a pretty far-fetched comparison to draw? A good chunk of people could afford the monthly payment on a new boat — I’d venture to guess not a lot of those same folks have $10k in the sock drawer waiting to be spent on a pair of tickets to a football game.

I can’t afford either, but more power to those that can. Smoke ’em if ya got ’em!

Here is how serious I am.
I’m actually going to the game tomorrow.
FYI last game I went to was in Bloomington.
The next game I go to will be in February.

OK, gotta go. Time to shave my chest and paint the purple “V” on it.

    Skol!

So this would have been the last Viking game you’ve been to until today? Possibly the worst football stadium ever. There was a football field size space between the stands and the football field.

BTW, how’d the chest shaving go…? blush

The new stadium is a bit of an upgrade and I’m glad I wasn’t sitting outside when I unveiled the “V” whistling rotflol

Seriously though,, are there any IDO’ers going to the superbowl this year? Regardless of who is playing in it?

The Vikes will be playing in the Super Bowl and I am giving serious thought of being there to watch as the Vikes hoist the Lombardi Trophy! woot

I guess it’s all relative… People blow 7-8k for tropical vacations too… It’s all about the experience.. And I’d be willing to bet there are plenty of guys on this site that easily do have that kind of cash laying in their sock drawer. I hope a few make out and let us know what it’s like!

3500 is about the cheapest you can find right now… IF the Vikings are able to make it to the big game I bet that number doubles within 8 minutes of final tick.

you can opt for Field Club Seating…$ 15,000.00 a pop.
…that’s if you can find someone who wants to sell.

Citiots? If you mean hard working, Ba&& busting, 14 hour days, and weekends. Then I’ll accept the moniker “Citiots” with pride.

Only “citiots” can afford to go to something like this…no way is someone from Plainview able to afford them.

    What’s a citiot? Seriously.

Super Bowl tickets carry the pricing they do because the NFL can’t have to many of the lowly taxpayers inside. Those seats are for the sponsors that pay $9 billion a year.

To those that go, have a good time. I wouldn’t ever be there but I understand those who would go. How often do you get the chance to see the Patriots win another title in your home stadium?

    Citiot:
Guy that shows up at the launch with a couple buddies in his 60k sparkly ranger or equivalent. Usually decked out with matching shirt, undies, hat etc. Typically barking orders to his buddies while he gets backed down the ramp. Really enjoys himself and the power of his boat so he drops the hammer any chance he gets even amongst nearby boats.

Beats being behind the guy at the launch who pulls his 1960’s era boat out on Memorial Weekend complete with 60’s era motor that hasn’t run since last September, while his wife/cousin and aging parents with no teeth all stand on the dock, blocking it from all incoming and outgoing, waiting for him to get it started!

This is almost fact if you watched the Patriots/Steeler game. The NFL is going to make the Patriots win again. They might not even need to cheat, but they will anyway coffee

EPG, I hope you get to go, it would be a great experience for sure!

I’m a packer fan and I really think this is the vikings year. Even if Case plays substandard in the playoffs the defense is built to win. With Wentz getting hurt the biggest challenge became easier.

    Now I’m stoked!

It will be a sure thing when Bigpike confirms the same. whistling

Bradshaw said the Vikes are the best team in the NFC. I disagree, they are the best in the NFL.

Vikes have best defense in the NFL. Patriots have Brady, Steelers have Ben. If they do march to the SB, the only chance they have if they take the lead is to not give TB12 or Ben any time to score, because they will 10 out of 10 times. Still plenty of work to do before then…..enjoying the ride tho!

I truly believe we have the road to the SB all running through Mpls!! Foles is terrible against good teams.

We’ll have to beat a good team in week 2, probably NO or LA, but I don’t think we’ll have to travel to Philly!
